From Anne Fitzgerald, Executive Director
Day of Tears was founded following the revelations that David Daleiden and the Centefor Medical Progress brought to light. The horrors of Planned Parenthood and their blatant disregard for human life were so abhorrent that Founder and Team Leader, Ken Adams was compelled to call for a national day of mourning for those who were not given a chance to experience the gift and beauty of life.
This month Day of Tears is focusing on Life Champions. Daleiden is a true Life Champion. He went into the heart of the abortion industry and ripped off the veil, exposing to all the terrors that exist within. As a result he was persecuted.
The thing is, Life Champions aren’t just those who do visible heroic deeds. They are folks like you and me; average, everyday people who are willing to fight for the preborn by working in pregnancy centers, praying and counseling in front of clinics, supporting political candidates who stand for life, donating money to prolife organizations, and so much more.
We want to highlight your favorite Life Champion. Email me with your story (100 words or less), and a photo if you have one, and we will post these on our Facebook page and our website. Tweet your story using the hashtag #LifeChampion.
Thank you for being a Life Champion!
